We will take you to some of the most picturesque and historical places in West Bengal like Calcutta, the gateway to Eastern India, a city with a rich heritage & bustling streets, Darjeeling - which has possibly the most picturesque views among all Indian hill resorts, Shantiniketan - the only university of
its kind in the world, Bishnupur - famous for conchshell products as well as for Baluchari saris, Bankura - famous for clay model items and the famous Hazarduari (thousand doors) palace of Murshidabad.
Orissa is a land of exquisite temples, historic monuments, beautiful long unspoilt sandy beaches and enchanting wildlife. The temples cities of Puri, Bhubaneswar and Konark are topmost in the itinerary of a visitor to Orissa. The natural waterfalls, the sculptural art of the rock caves, the Buddhist and Jain relics, hills and forests offer a unique, unspoilt charm, which is unparalleled. The Chilka lagoon in Orissa is the largest brackish lake in Asia and has rich birdlife. Orissa has a very wide and distinctive range of handicrafts.
This tour will take you to Bhubaneswar, the Temple City of India, where bursting modernity reverberates with echoes of the past. Visit the famous 6th - 12th century temples, Lalitgiri,Ratnagiri and Udaygiri Buddhist monasteries built between 7th -12th centuries, Ashokan rock edicts at Dhauli, famous 13th century Sun Temple at Konark and the Jagannath Temple at Puri.
